STADIUM POP & COMEDY CONCERTS
To produce all safety, production and site infrastructure elements for two stadium concerts to be attended by 15,000 seated audiences each night
Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol, UK
June 2010
To production manage two concerts featuring legendary Irish pop band Westlife and one of the UK's top comedians Bill Bailey.
"I just wanted to say thanks to yourself and your team for what was a exceptional week of work, for the clubs personnel this was the easiest two concerts we have organised in the past 9 years since you were last here; this was very much down to your professionalism. Craig our head groundsman also wanted me to thank you all, for the care you took with the pitch which is in incredible condition considering it had over 20,000 people on it during the weekend and your 80 tonne crane. I look forward to working with you in 2011 and for many years to come."
Keith Draisey, Operations Director
Bristol City Football Club
"When a large black curtain was ripped down by stage hands, Westlife appeared on the stage in front of the Atyeo Stand to rapturous applause, launching straight into Where We Are, the title track from their latest album.
Pyrotechnics were fired into the air, and returned two songs later for When You're Looking Like That, when the band members could first show off their dance moves. These dance moves returned for Uptown Girl, a cover of the Billy Joel classic which Westlife released as a charity single for Comic Relief in 2001. Swear It Again was sung acapella, before they touchingly dedicated Mandy to a Mandy in the audience.

Bristol Evening Post - Westlife
"When the Keynsham-born comic took to the stage at Bristol City football ground on Saturday night for the biggest comedy show ever staged in the city, I felt proud that this was a local man who had made his name on television and had become internationally renowned for his live gigs. Bill's delivery, as ever, was immaculate, as you would expect from a world-class comic"
